Who wants to become a teacher?
Our teachers over the years are among-st our earliest memories. They may well have been our best friends in those years. Although some we couldn't wait to get away from. Reading stories to you was done by some teachers. Memorizing The Gettysburg Address or the preamble to the Constitution was forced on you by others. Learning to read was a skill leaned from an early teacher probably. A special group is teachers. Now you are considering becoming one. Are you prepared properly for this? What exactly is needed to learn to become a teacher?
The first items you want to consider is what grade are you interested in teaching. Do young students appeal more than old? YouÕll want to select a group that you are more comfortable with, since this is the area and the ages of the children, you will be working with for some time. You want to do your very best.
Consider carefully your choice of subject as well. Think of your interests and your skills too. If you are going to be doing the same thing each day you are going to need commitment and dedication. You will keep getting better if you are doing something you love and are passionate about. Your teaching will have passion and keep improving if you are teaching something you love. You will demonstrate your interest and passion with subjects that you are passionate about. Your students will pick up this passion and share it with you. In must have subjects like English and math this is very important
