Skills you need

For being a forest ranger U.S. citizenship is mandatory for you. If you have a permanent resident in the USA and if you meet up the criteria for being a citizen you can also apply. Having a valid driving license is also must for the job. For specific grade level you have to meet up specific qualification. As an example it is represented that, a bachelor degree is essential for GS-5 level on the other hand High school diploma is enough for GS-2 level. At first you have to commence your job under a direct supervision of an experienced ranger. Your salary varies according to your state and level. Virginia park rangers earn (23,999 to 31,352)$  yearly. Your annual income in California varies between $38,532 to 50, 244 and in Texas it ranges between $29,928 to $46,396. Your annual income may vary from $27,431 to 35,657 when you are a graduate park ranger.
